We decided to spend a few days over Easter driving up Cape York Peninsula in Northern Australia chasing some early-season trade winds, flat water and secluded beaches.
We were pretty disorganised, but the wind was forecast to be strong, so we just pulled the trigger.
Our camp was set up alongside the Kitesurfari, run by legends Pauli and Ant. Apart from three other kitesurfers from Cairns we had the whole place to ourselves.
Banter was thrown and kites were flown, and despite forgetting plenty of things, including cutlery, we had an awesome time.
